Sorry this isn't a big update, but a few things were fixed along with a portfolio update.

I added a logo I worked on for a reunion my grandfather is hosting/improvising but I won't be there because I'm going to Japan. But more on that later... The lightbox to view the portfolio was screwed up on a few of the pictures and I fixed it? I don't know what was wrong with them, I just re-pasted in the code. But now you can see the ones you couldn't before.

I also changed things on a few layouts. #4 got a bit of a CSS overhaul. The content just looked awkward, so hopefully now it's better. I also changed the site title on #3 to be less pink. I saw it on my other computer and it looked way too pink, so I toned it down a bit.

So my Japan trip will be very interesting. There are 13 other people in the program, but they didn't have enough host families @_@ Me and a few other people are staying in a "guest house" (technically a hostel I guess). I wanted a single room but it's their busy month so I'm staying in a 4-person dormitory. I'm really private so I'm a bit anxious, but I think it will be a good experience. The flight is less scary now that a few people in the program are going to be on it, 2 of which are staying in the guest house so we can find our way there together =D I'm staying in Kobe, which is right near Osaka. Maybe Ill take a few trips into Osaka. Takes about an hour by bus. They have a Universal Studios, but it kind of sucked last time I was there. I'm looking forwards to Japanese drinks LOL. But not alcoholic ones since I'm half a year away from being able to drink =( (Drinking age is 20) There's a Sake brewery right near the guest house haha. So after Japan I'm going to Hawaii and meeting my parents there. No point going all the way home first =P

Oh yeah, and Kim Jong Il, please don't nuke me cause it will ruin my summer.

I seriously can't think of what to call my updates =P

First, there is a new layout! I tried to do something different this time, inspired by Angel who is closing down her designs site to make a web design firm @_@ Way to go professional! I just can't do anything without tons of color involved (I lose interest fast), so it still ended up being colorful. I really like it =D The coding took a while and was a little difficult. I needed to put some tables in because the DIVs weren't working perfectly (I still don't know why). So it's kind of a hybrid in terms of coding.

Second, I have a new affiliate! Koi Enishi is such a beautiful site, and Cyndy has so much potential in web designing. Just beautiful! I applied a few other places for affiliates as well, let's see if I hear back. I finally got off my lazy ass and picked a few sites to apply to, because I only had 2 affiliates!

I'm thinking whether or not to start 2 things: hosting, and custom designing. I have nothing to do for a month and a half, but I don't think I'd attract many clients in only a few months =P Though my mom's hair designer/friend says she's thinking of making a website, and maybe I can do that for her really cheap.

About hosting, if you're interested just use the contact form. I don't want to totally advertise hosting all over the site. I don't have unlimited space/bandwidth so you have to be a small site.

For that month and a half I have with nothing planned, I'm planning on visiting my friend in school in Virginia, but the drive is about 4 hours because it's in the middle-of-nowhere southwestern part. There's really no other way to get there, so I guess I'm going to be driving. It scares my parents a little, I haven't even had my license for a year yet.
I'm also taking riding lessons for 4 days, 2 1/2 hours each time... which is kind of crazy by the way, because I don't think I've ridden more than 25 minutes at a time. I'm also looking in to some art classes, though adult ones are hard to come by. I think I might take a watercolor class that's a few days. I suck at watercolor =P
